| - Sweet Jesus tasted like my childhood.
Fun, but not something to relive.
It actually tasted like a watered down version of my childhood, since one time, on a hot day, I took apart 11 double stuffed fudgeos and put the cream fillings together between two cookie shells and licked it like an ice cream cone, so really, what could compare to that.
Anyway, I got to Sweet Jesus and there wasn't really a line, but there was a steady stream of people ordering, so I felt a bit of pressure after letting 3 people in front of me, to decide on a cone.
This place is just a window, and there are no substitutions on cones as the mix is already pre-mixed and sitting in bowls.
The staff were not unfriendly, but not friendly either.
I got the cookie monster. Pieces of fudgeo, oreos, and some other o's crumbled up and stuck onto my vanilla soft serve.
WHY DIDN'T THEY TRY TO UPSELL ME, I WASN'T AWARE THERE WERE SAUCES.
For $5.20 I walked away with a sub par soft serve (I would even dare say, Mcdonalds is better, this had a texture I did not like). It was plain, and the cookies were a tad stale. I think some chocolate sauce could've taken this cone from zero to a hunnid.
I think... but I'll never know because I'll never go back here.
