I recently bought a house and my inspection report listed a number of plumbing issues. I had one company look at them and got a very high quote. I then decided to try J&A through my home warranty company to see what they would charge and if any of it would be covered under the warranty.
My experience with J&A was one of the best I've had with vendors coming to my house. They returned my phone message promptly and were very helpful and polite over the phone. I got an appointment for them to come the next day between 10:00 and 2:00 pm.
The plumbers came right at 10:00 on the dot. They were very polite and friendly. They fixed a couple of minor issues that were covered under the warranty so I paid nothing except the $75 fee to HSA. They did some tests to verify the gas leak issue found by the home inspector and didn't find any leak except for one that they could fix by tightening up a connector on a pipe. I saved loads of money by getting their appraisal and re-test of issues listed in an overly cautious inspection report.
I have some other plumbing needs and will not hesitate to call them again.
