We had a room reservation since Sept for a January stay during CES which is the hardest time of year to get a hotel. For that reason we called several times ahead of time to confirm reservation and were told each time we were good. We got there and were told to wait an hour as the room was being cleaned. We were reassured that we had a room there. Returned in an hour later and were told we never had a valid reservation, it had been "cancelled by our corporate office." (Call to their corporate office the next day showed that was not true.) THey instead referred us to a sister property in Boulder City; on the way in Uber the driver said it was a bad neighborhood so don't go out at night. Indeed there were two police cars with flashing lights outside our room there within an hour of our arrival, and we were 20 minutes outside of Las Vegas strip. Go see reviews on Trip Advisor as it is apparent that this property does this routinely. To put it bluntly they lie to your face.
