Well, it's been more than three years since my initial review. I'm elated to say that despite my fabulous 5-star experiences way back then, Wigle Whiskey continues to grow and thrive! They still have labeling parties (unfortunately I haven't been able to make one recently; hopefully soon - they are a fabulous way to decompress and meet an extremely interesting variety of Pittsburghers) and they have broadened their product line, all the while focusing on their core spirits.
They've added a barrelhouse to their experience, and from what I hear, it's awesome (going to do a visit there soon, too...). It's always great to see their scheduled events at both the distillery and the barrelhouse, and realize that they still adore variety and individualism. They are always happy to support good causes and this is very apparent from their events.
Recently, I made a run to the distillery to pick up some of their first release "Bottled in Bond" Deep Cut Rye, and I could hardly believe that they have been in business that long (4 years) already - I'm delighted to say that these products only get more amazing as time goes on, and I'm eager to continue to follow them and appreciate their offerings. Do yourself the favor of paying them a visit and supporting their business - you'll be happy you did!
