Prior to moving to Vegas, I had never heard of Shaved Snow. My coworkers had been raving about it for weeks so I finally took the plunge and decided to try it. I was excited to go to Yuki Shaved Snow because it got decent reviews on Yelp. However, I did not have the best experience.
The product itself - the shaved snow - was good. I tried the Green Tea, my friend had Taro, and her son had Vanilla. We were amused with the consistency and the Green Tea and Taro flavors were quite unique.
Unfortunately, the young lady working at the store that day was not in the best of moods. When I told her we had never been there and asked if she could recommend anything for us to try, she could not. To be frank, she didn't seem happy to be there. I get it - we all have bad days. However, a bad attitude (even though I tried to be really friendly to her) makes things awkward and leaves a bad taste.
I don't think I'll be heading back to Yuki Shaved Snow anytime soon but don't let that stop you from giving it a try. Perhaps others will get lucky and go at a time when those working there are in a better mood.
