Vegas is full of rude people. I just moved here from Maryland and people, especially the ones that work in these retail stores cannot be more repulsive and judgmental. I went to this Macy's and it was not any different from other stores I have visited in Vegas in terms of abysmal customer service. I was at the fragrance section for women and it was pathetic. There was a lady who actually informed me that she does not work for Macy's however she works there. Yes, she may be an agent there selling other specified fragrances but still works there in my opinion. When she realized that I was looking for a perfume less than $50, her willingness to sell me anything evaporated. I eventually spent a little bit more. I was trying to access the internet on my phone inside the store but it was impossible. I was not trying to get on their WIFI. I have seen some great deals online and wanted to show these associates but no one was able to assist me. One of them even had the audacity to advise me to step out of the store instead of researching the product that I was looking for on their computer. One of the associates who "helped" me with my transaction actually used their computer reluctantly to research some of the perfumes. The store either is not fully equipped with most of the products or consists of associates who are just unwelcoming and ignorant. I asked for the item which cost $93 to be wrapped but was informed that there was no wrapping paper big enough to fit the gift set that I bought. I shop mostly online and definitely not familiar with nasty attitudes from retail workers.
