| - While Hubs and I were walking down the Strip, the Bellagio fountains went off, and of course, we stopped to look. After that show was over, though, Hubs told me about this beautiful indoor garden that was located inside of the hotel; I had to see for myself what he'd been referring to, and I wasn't at all disappointed.
This is a beautiful place, with every flower and plant imaginable all contained under one roof. I loved the classical music softly playing in the background - it added a nice touch to the atmosphere. The only bad thing about this place is that it was crowded beyond all measure - and somehow, screaming kids tend to detract from the purpose of having the classical music playing in the background, since you can't hear it very well. There also seemed to be a lot of uncontrollable behavior going on, too - actually saw a lot of kids running OVER the flower beds and trampling the plants underfoot. Not cool, but it's hardly the venue's fault (although I think that a security presence might help with that).
I imagine that this place would be gorgeous during the holidays - lots of exhibits to see and marvel over. Bring a camera, you'll need one.
Allergy sufferers may not do too well here, be warned.
Free to the public, and who can resist free? Definitely a worthy stop in your Vegas itinerary.
