Wanted to visit the AGO, but it's not open on Mondays :(
Rodger McLellan met us in the lobby and explained they layout the museum and encouraged us to head up to the third floor to begin.
While we did enjoy the exhibits here--it wasn't the kind of museum experience we were looking for in Toronto. David, however, loved spending time in the Grecian and Italian sections, learning more history. I wandered around the floors and took in more of the work before meeting back up to head out.
If we lived in Toronto or had longer than three days to visit, this would have been a better stop---but now we've seen it and we have an excuse to return to see the AGO!
The one thing I really appreciated was that they welcomed you to bring outside food into their downstairs eating area. Since we had brought fruit for lunch, we enjoyed the cafeteria seating instead of heading back outside before finishing our tour.
