  • Belk's in Concord typically has some pretty good sales on women's clothing and handbags. Several of the clerks in the jewelry department and the women's clothing are not friendly! Yesterday, I encountered an older woman in women's clothing by petites at the checkout. While she rang up my purchase, she asked if I had or wanted a Belk card. I said "No thank you." Seemed to make her mad. I looked at a small promotion card for the Estee Lauder sale while standing at the checkout, and when I had to sign the credit card scanner, I laid the promo card back on the counter. The clerk picked up that card and slammed it down on top of the stack of others, picked up the credit card scanner, and slammed it on top of the stack! Wow! She was Hungarian or another nationality and muttering to herself...........no doubt about my lack of ability to keep her counter tidy!!!! I won't go back to buy anything if she's there.
