  • Overpriced and Dishonest. Before you believe other reviews know that they offered us a discount if we gave a good review. I assume that they did this for others. We got a quote to fix a bowed and leaky cellar wall. The original quote was for $35,000 and included a complete set of drains that they later admitted weren't necessary. We finally got them to agree to put a 3 foot deep trench on the outside to relieve pressure and drain off water, install I-beams and patch the inside of the walls for $22,000, which I think is pretty steep. But they guarantee their work, so we went with it. We signed the contract without exact details but they promised that they would send these. They never did, even after repeated requests. In fact, all requests to meet or followup on problems or questions were very late or ignored. When the crew arrived we were told that the city inspector wouldn't allow the trench. We got 3 or 4 different excuses but it looked to me like they simply didn't want to break up a slab that was in the way and manually dig a 3 foot trench. They deducted only $1,000 for that but without a detailed contract we didn't have much basis to argue. The work on the wall was done as explained and the crew very professional. I have no complaints about them. But the next day we got a lot more leakage that we had to begin with. The existing leaks were almost all fixed but the repaired wall now has leaks that weren't there before. We got a bunch of different excuses, even a comment that "basements are supposed to leak" and "our concrete isn't waterproof, you have to expect this". They won't fix the problem and when we suggested that they do the trench as originally agreed upon, they say that they never said they were going to install a drain and it wouldn't work anyway. When we asked for a 6 foot deep trench and drain they quoted us an additional $30,000 to $40,000 bill! They haven't offered any help or even contacted us again as requested. STAY AWAY! THERE ARE HONEST PEOPLE WHO WILL DO THE JOB FOR CHEAPER AND STAND BY THEIR WORK!
