| - This used to be my favorite sushi place! I used to go almost every weekend, and the employees there all knew us too. This was one of the few places we tried that has fresh sushi, and doesn't try to stretch the limits on how long they can keep the fish fresh. Plus, the speciality rolls are amazingly good!
Lately, I guess business hasn't been going well because they started changing their hours, putting all you can eat options on the menu, and firing a lot of the sushi chefs. I'm not sure what other problems they were having, but I did hear them talking crap about other former employees. As a customer, I didn't think that was appropriate, no matter how well we knew them. Then we asked to split the check, and we given a careless response of "it's ok just split it between you two." This was shocking because it was almost as if we were being treated like that because she knew we would be back. We haven't been back since, and I really hope they pull through this because it is one of my favorite sushi spots.
