  • Our AC died on a Sunday afternoon (of course!) and I couldn't find anyone to come out that day. I scoured Nextdoor and called just about everyone recommended. Luckily Dan Deckard actually called me back and was able to come that day! He diagnosed the problem (leaking coil) and gave us our options - repair or replace. Most places wouldn't even offer you the repair option because they would rather upsell you. We decided to repair which meant we had to wait several days for the part to come in. Well, Dan was kind enough to lend us a portable AC unit while we waited. We really appreciated that. Again something most repair places would not do. Fast forward one month and UGH our AC died again!!! Nooooo. We called them at 7am and Dan came out that day and fixed the problem (blown capacitor this time, in case you are curious). Fingers crossed that was it for the summer, but now we know who to call when it's time to upgrade. I highly recommend Deckard HVAC if you find yourself in the same boat!
