  • I really wish I could leave Fernando and his company a good review especially since there are many previous good reviews for this company, however, my experience was extremely poor and I would not recommend them under any circumstance. Based on my conversation with their scheduler, Joey, a level 2 detail was recommended for my girlfriend's FJ Cruiser for the price of $225 (this was a Christmas present) with a new client discount of 10%. Although I felt this was expensive, I agreed, as I wanted to do something additionally nice for her, and as Joey stated the car would be spotless and in 'showroom condition'. The experienced detailers, Oscar and Fernando (a different Fernando) showed up a few minutes late. I asked Oscar, who appeared to be the lead technician, if he had much experience with FJ Cruisers and he stated that he had. So: what really happened that would cause me to leave a 1-star review for my fellow YELP-ers and suggest that the YELP community never do business with this company? 1. Although obviously very experienced, Oscar and Fernando were more interested in getting to their NEXT job than in making sure they did a good and thorough job for me and my vehicle. When a 2-hour time period was up (I had no idea that there was a 2-hour LIMIT) the FJ, although certainly much cleaner, left much to be desired: *dog hair and dirt still remained in abundance under the split fold-down rear seats *the cleaning compound used to clean the dash was splashed on the inner windshield and side-view mirror, leaving streaks and dirt *absolutely no attention was given to the pop-out rear window, which had pine needles, mesquite bean pods, dirt, and a napkin still stuck inside when I popped it open! *excessive dirt and grime still remained on all wheels and in the wheel wells *the detailers told their boss that they were waiting for me to come out of my office again for final approval of the job before they left, which is absolutely not true- 2. Although it was certainly possible that more time (and $) were required to properly clean my FJ, if ONLY 2 hours were given to complete the 'level 2' detail by the owner I should have been informed of this PRIOR to starting the job so that I could choose whether or not to proceed - not to be given this choice by a very experienced crew is unacceptable. The result was a cut-the corners and seriously rushed half-ass detail job and a very unhappy new customer. 3. to add insult to injury the owner (?) Fernando's complete lack of care regarding customer service was deplorable. Rather than addressing any of my legitimate concerns, apologizing, and offering to make it right, he attempted to bully me into paying full price for a poor job done. In addition, he was argumentative, self- serving, arrogant, and was more concerned with getting his money and telling me I should have had additional detail work done for more $. Really Fernando? It is truly unfortunate; if Fernando had shown just a smidgen of caring and understanding rather than repeatedly cutting me off when I was making a comment, I would gladly bring my four other business vehicles to him for detail. In addition, six other co-workers were willing to have their vehicles detailed if I had had a good experience. Based upon previous reviews, this once must have been a reputable business - sadly no more.
