  • I love a good popsicle, and King of Pops never disappoints. Today, King of Pops was on campus at UNC Charlotte. I learned that they are on campus every other Tuesday. I know for sure that I will be enjoying a popsicle every other Tuesday... woo hoo! Today I tried the cookies and cream. I've never had that one before and, I must admit, it's not what I expected. I was expecting oreo ice cream on a stick... but no no no. My popsicle was a Famous Amos cookie and vanilla ice cream concoction of deliciousness on a stick. Yum yum yum! I will definitely enjoy this flavor again. I love that King of Pops has a quick and painless payment process. They take cash and credit cards, and they are quick! The stand had a very polite attendant. He said yes ma'am and no ma'am, which I was pleasantly surprised by. As a southern lady raised with good manners, I can certainly appreciate others with the same mindset. The stand was also equipped with a trashbag and papertowels. When I finished my popsicle, the stick said, "Feel free to do a cartwheel." What a nice reminder that sometimes a cartwheel is a fun and needed way to make your work day feel more carefree.
