| - Let's start with the good:
* Fully stocked kitchen, fridge, microwave, stove w/ oven.
* Dinning table and breakfast bar for two
* cute villas
* big screen TVs in each of the bedrooms and one in the living room.
* there are activities for kids
* onsite convenience store
Now, for the bad:
* Cleanliness standards are low (see pictures I posted). The kitchen, common areas, and beds were ok, but the bathrooms and vents were disgusting.
* walls/ceilings are not well insulated. We could hear the people upstairs stomping at all hours. We could also hear the gates slamming outside, especially at night.
* The water heater took half the space of the small closet. I didn't like knowing I was sleeping next to a water heater in the bedroom.
* There is mold in the shower stall and the floor needs either a better cleaning or to be updated.
* breaker box in the master bedroom
* older hot tub
* intermittent buzzing sound coming from an access panel (or something) in the kitchen ceiling. Sounded like a motor that buzzed for two seconds, stop for a minute and buzz again--non stop.
* took them 24 hours to do something about the pot smokers above. Couldn't sleep a whole night due to the heavy smell of pot that got trapped in my room.
We are used to the cleanliness and more updated look of our Westgate timeshare in Florida. We transferred our week here to the Las Vegas properties but I think that unless you stay at the property where you originally bought in, you won't get the nicer of the rooms.
For those who are not owners, take it as a convenient place to stay with a group of friends or family--a place several notches above a Best Western, but it's no luxury resort.
Needless to say, we cut our stay short and didn't even try to ask for a refund because we know how that's gonna go.
Mr. Siegel please do something about this place. It's not well maintained and for now we won't be returning until something is done.
