  • Even though this is a pretty nice looking shoppers drug mart inside, customer service is sort of lacking at this location. I purchased a few items at this store using cash. When I got home I realized the cashier forgot to put my receipt in the bag, and forgot to put in one of the smaller cheaper items in my bag (which was only a chocolate bar). I called the very next day to speak with a manager, because I wanted to ask them if I could get a copy of my receipt, in case I want to return an item. I also advised them that the cashier forgot to put in the chocolate bar. They indicated there was no manager in the building, that she went home sick. I spoke to another women, I don't quite remember her name though. The women didn't sound like she believed what I was saying, and I had to explain what was going on for about 10 minutes. I told her she could even check the security camera for that day, to see that I came in and bought the items. Because I paid by cash, there was no paper trail, so I'm not surprised that they didn't believe me. It's quite convenient though that I pay by cash, don't get my receipt, and don't get one of my items. I gave this shoppers drug mart two stars instead of one, because after speaking with this lady, she finally agreed that if I have a problem with the items, I could come in the very next morning to return whatever I didn't want (at a very inconvenient time). Just a heads up, when you pay by cash at this location, be sure you see them put your receipt in your bag. I've never had this happen at any shoppers drug mart, a bit odd. Also, this location doesn't have as good of a return policy as other shoppers drug mart locations. Some items can't be returned they say for hygiene reasons (which is understandable). However, the same item, if purchased at another location, can be returned (I asked another location). Interesting.
