  • Owned by Gujarati-speaking Pakistani folks, this is my favourite neighbourhood grocery store. Several months ago they expanded and gobbled up the neighbouring storefront. As a result they have a much wider selection. This store has tons of "ethnic" (Indian) food and the workers are extremely friendly, polite and helpful. It's one of those places you'd feel comfortable going on a groggy sunday morning in your pjs and buying some shitty pancake mix and corn syrup because suddenly you felt like having pancakes for breakfast.
