What a disappointment. I was so looking forward to visiting here. The best part of the visit were the chips and olives sitting in bowls at the bar. The chips were homemade and good, even cold. At our table the disappointment began when they left bread. What appeared to be focaccia was stale and tasted of something old and fried. The other bread was mediocre. The 2nd best part of the restaurant were the marinated beans served with the bread. I ordered the tagliolini, served with shrimp artichokes and a garlic, olive oil and wine sauce. The dish had absolutely no flavor, used canned artichoke hearts, lacked any sign of garlic and definitely did not use EVOO. The pasta was handmade and cooked perfectly al dente. Unfortunately, the pasta was tough and the use of dried pasta would've been a better option. My husband ordered the veal piccata. The lemon sauce was flavorful but the veal was tough. My recommendation, cook at home or go elsewhere.
