  • Good little bar here. This area on 12 doesn't have enough bars if you're on your way home from work or from some event in Sauk City. Not far from Middleton or West Side at all. Missouri Tavern is in the Mad City Cocktail Book, on so many pages! I've never tried their bar food offerings here but I would consider the pizza from the looks of it. The beer is cold and served in either a mason jar with a handle or a plastic cup if you go outside. I felt the plastic cup was bigger but perhaps this was one of those illusions. I appreciate the option to be outside on the picnic tables. It can get very windy and is undoubtedly loud because it's right on 12. Prices are great and service has been both very good and decent. They meet all the basic needs!
