Simply put, I had a really poor customer service experience at this store. I went in to purchase a mattress. I had no budget cap, I just wanted the best available bed to support my injured back.
The store itself is a hodgepodge of miscellaneous furniture. But I am not reviewing their product. We moseyed through the labyrinth of couches and nick nacks and despite passing no less than 5 different employees, we were not greeted or acknowledged at all. I was astonished and really put off. I had no idea where the mattresses were located in the store and was growing increasingly irritated by the fact that the staff seemed to be blind to our presence. It wasn't even as though they were busy with other customers. The store was virtually empty. Eventually we found the mattress department where there was an employee ( possibly two- a man and a woman who may have been a girlfriend or just another employee) buying men's shirts on the store computer. He looked surprised to see us and FINALLY said " is there anything you're looking for?"- not hello, NOT may I help you- we were clearly an imposition, infringing on his online shopping time. The woman never looked up from her cell phone. At this point I was so disgusted by the customer service or entire lack thereof, I simply said to him "well, we came in to purchase a mattress but no body could be bothered to greet us so I think we'll take our business elsewhere", to which he reaponded "oh I thought the other guy greeted you". He never got up, never offered an apology or even offered to help us shop from that point forward! Am altogether horrible experience!
