  • The first Popbar in Arizona!!! Say what?? That's right! You heard me. The much talked about New York based gelato is finally here in AZ. The first of two locations is located inside Westgate Entertainment Center. The Popbar franchise is not new to me since I travel to SoCal often, and have had the pleasure of munching on these delicious gelato bars for a few years now. Making their gelato and sorbetto in house every single day using only the best ingredients is the most refreshing idea ever. I love knowing my yummy treats were made no more than a few hours before my consumption. Now, that's taking freshness to a whole new level! Now, let's move on to the limitless ways you can create your wonderful treat. There are at least 40 flavors, and more are in the works everyday. The store will feature anywhere from 12 to 16 flavors a day, and the flavors rotate based on popularity. There are at least 5-7 dippings: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, mint chocolate, and caramel, just to name a few. You can half dip, double dip, full dip, and even half & half dip your Popbar. The selection of toppings ranges from pistachios to waffle cone. Once your popbar is dipped and your toppings are added on, you can drizzle the dipping of your choice to finalize you bar to your heart's desires. It's a whimsical experience for children and adults alike. I had a blast choosing my popbar with my bestie. So go and visit the peeps at Popbar and create your own edible art.
