| - Well...how to say Yay! I'm a fan without actually patronizing any of the stores and restaurants there? If I did I would have to wite a review for each one...oh no (pls rescue me from this YELP habit)!
First off, there's a lot of neat artsy-fartsy sculptures and things scattered throughout Crystals - see the pictures I uploaded for the water columns, the neon tubes and the amazing geode staircase. I happened to stumble upon this place as it adjoins the Aria Hotel where I was staying at, to Las Vegas Blvd (AKA the Strip). Its pretty hard to miss this place unless you aren't walking out of the Aria on foot.
The stores are mostly all high-end like Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Versace. etc. so forget trying to find a T-shirt for a souvenir (do that right outside the door at the local CVS Pharmacy on the strip). There were some nice restaurants I wouldn't have mind checking out, but we were strapped for time. I would have loved to try the PODS cafe (see pics) and write a lovely yelp about that one, but oh well...maybe in my next life time.
The free (limited) monorail system ran though here from the Monte Carlo, to the Mandarin Oriental, Crystals, Aria, Vdara and Bellagio, so you could jump onto the monorail to the other sister hotels.
If you don't plan to shop here, plan on bringing at least your camera and your artistic eye to snap the photos of some pretty amazing architecture and sculptures.
