  • Just paid off a car loan with these people (a 5 year loan which I paid off early after 4 years). Well, it took 2 months to get my title after paying it off! Come to find out it took DSCU a month to process the payoff and send the info to AZ MVD. This is really unacceptable (most banks are 7 to 10 days). Then I went in to close the required savings account that was opened when I got the car loan which had a $25 balance. They handed me a $20 bill and told me that they recently (without telling me) started charging $5 per month service charge on savings accounts FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF KEEPING YOUR MONEY IN THEIR BANK. Pretty rude customer service too for the few times I have gone into this branch. Definitely the worst credit union I have ever dealt with. Stay away - there are better places to conduct your financial business.
