| - This is the best Chinese food we have found in Las Vegas. Specifically, we ordered Mongolian Beef, Sweet & Sour Pork, Walnut Shrimp, Potstickers, and Chicken Stir Fried Noodles, and each offering was the best version of that dish that we have found, after trying about a dozen other Chinese restaurants. With plenty left over for dinner at home the next night, the whole tab came to just $60. We would make this our go to Chinese restaurant for take out as well as for dining in, except that parking at the Gold Coast is a little inconvenient if all you are doing is popping in to pick up an order.
A lot of the reviews here characterize PPP's cuisine as "authentic." I have no idea what that means. I've only spent a couple of weeks in China, but nothing I ate there bears any resemblance to our dinner at PPP. As far as I'm concerned this is Americanized Chinese food, and that is just what I want. If you want to make it as "authentic" as the Chinese family-owned restaurants on Spring Mountain (aka Chinatown), just remove most of the protein from each dish and replace it with overcooked vegetables, sodium and MSG. For my taste, though, I like it just the way they are serving it at PPP.
