| - The best way to access this place is from Almond Tree lane. We couldn't see it from Maryland, or Sahara, so getting there was a little challenging.
I didn't know what to expect, but this place is very clean, and looks great on the inside.
There is a lot of nudity in the women's section, but that doesn't really bother me. Some people wear bikinis, some people don't bother. I don't see the benefit of being fully nude, but I guess it's good to have options.
I was bummed that there was no salt in the dry salt sauna, or the wet salt sauna. I was really looking forward to that. Also, the wet herbal sauna didn't seem...herbal, and both wet saunas were insanely hot. Wet saunas are kind of our thing, and it was a little irritating that they were both so hot that we were unable to use them. The benches in there were hot enough to scald your butt. No wonder they were both empty.
The upstairs area has lots of comfortable chairs, couches, and a tv with Korean programming. Unfortunately, the tv that people are watching in the lounge area can be heard in most of the relaxation rooms. Some soothing music probably would have been nicer.
The relaxation rooms upstairs are really nice. The red clay ball pits were amazing. There was also a red clay room with little cave-like structures you could lay inside. That room was probably the quietest.
There is a cafe, but we decided to skip it. $10 for soup seems a little steep. We were hoping for something smaller to snack on, but didn't really see anything.
After showering on our way out we realized that there were no hair dryers. Not such a great surprise when it's cold out.
Oh well, we'll just have to bring our own next time. Hopefully the salt, and sauna temperature issues will be worked out by then.
Overall, the experience was definitely worth it. My mom, and I were both very relaxed when we were done. We ended up spending 3 hours here, but would have stayed even longer if the wet saunas were usable.
