  • Emporio Tobacco is a charming little spot downtown that is as wonderful to its customers as Yelp is not. For some reason, Yelp filtered my earlier review of Emporio Tobacco. This is something the ladies at Emporio Tobacco will not do to you. Unless, of course, you want filters. Which they have. But I digress. The shop is charming, with an excellent atmosphere, is one of the most swank cigar stores I've ever had the pleasure to visit. With sleek black decor, a modest assortment of quality smokes (and other related supplies, such as pipe and hookah tobacco), and comfortable couches for lounging, Emporio's a wonderful place to pop in whenever downtown to take a break, either from the throngs of sports fans or while waiting for a bus. As a bonus, the place is equipped with an exhaust system to suction the majority of smoke away, rather than allowing it to linger. Oh, sure, if you spend a few hours there, you're going to smell like smoke; but you won't smell as All in all, the only negative aspect of the place is that I don't live closer.
