Finally I got to try this place out today! I work up the street from it and have passed by so many times. In the summer I would always noticed it was so packed and kept telling myself to go after work one day. Today was the day! I finished early and my sister was @ the office with me so I called and asked if they had an opening in 10 minutes for 2 shellac manicures. The man on the phone (who I presume is the owner) said of course and to come in. We were greeted promptly at the door and was told to choose our colour of shellac polish. We picked and sat down. We got a very thorough manicure, sometimes places that offer shellac will give a mini manicure and rush through it to get onto the shellac application but they did the normal manicure routine very well. Soaked, filed, cut cuticles, buffed, filed again to make sure we were happy and had us wah our hands before the shellac application (my sister was impressed at that part b/c most places only ask you to wash before acrylic/gel application) They were very precise with the shellac application and after the color was set with the lights they gave a quick hand massage, hot towel and of course cuticle oil.
I was seated right at the front area and overheard many people paying/booking appts over the phone in person. Everyone is really friendly here and I didn't hear one appt not taken or not one person leave disappointed. They really tend to their customers and have a strong clientle. The places was packed, even in the snow storm at least 7 ladies were getting pedicures and a handful were getting manicures with anotehr bunch at the drying station. You would have thought it was summer outside!
Can't wait to go back and hoping to make this my Thursday after work nail salon :)
