  • I didn't really care for my dentist (mostly the hygienist) that I had been seeing at another clinic, so I decided to try out Madison No Fear Dentistry. The staff there are very nice - took the time to get to know you, and discussed your fears or why you don't like going to the dentist. I got my teeth cleaned and had some X-rays done and had them check out a tooth that had been bothering me. They have a lot of new high tech equipment there, which is cool - BUT most insurances don't cover the imaging and special things that they can do. The tooth that I had them look at was an infected root canal which they wanted to take this special imaging of, it was going to cost several hundred dollars. They said that they couldn't do anything further until I had this special X-ray. I went to another specialist who was able to look at a basic X-ray that was taken and was able to provide treatment. Also when I was at Madison No Fear Dentistry they told me I really needed to replace my silver fillings with white ones. I'm sorry - but I'm not fixing what isn't broken! They were wanting me to do all this dental work, and have these high tech things done, which I felt were not highly necessary.
