  • I am still thinking about what to write about this restaurant. Our waiter was Greg. He was professional & still standoffish. It was an odd feeling to be served by him. We found ourselves looking for him a lot! So it was not really service, nor was it relaxing to dine at this restaurant. The wine steward & another person kept reaching over our table to get to the wines which line the walls. That was odd too as they did not say what they were doing, they just intruded & reached in. Even while we were waiting, we did not get a drink or see an server out front at the tables, until we flagged one to please come to our table. Even after all of the above... The food was so amazing that I have to give them 4 stars. I want to give 5 stars for the food, but the lack of service & weird reaching in over the table has me stop. Portions & prices... Very little food for the money and the wine we saw had very big prices. 3 times mark ups over even an expensive wine store. They delivered us a Happy Anniversary sorbet & charged us for it. First time I have ever experienced that. The more I write the more I think 3 stars but I can't bring myself to give them a 3 star as the taste & preparation of the food was so good. The chef deserves more consideration than that. I waited 2 days to write this as on the night we ate there I would have given them 2 stars, as the service was So lackluster & robotic. Even so we tipped over 15% as he did bring the food. Could be a 5 star with some customer service!
