I came to order food to go with a co-worker yesterday (3/3/2017). We sat at bar to wait and they offered us waters right away while we waited. I ordered the shepherd pie pasty and is was delicious!! It went great with the red wine sauce that comes with it! I also ordered the Carmel apple pie pasty which was very good as well, my only complaint is the whipped cream was bland. Like no vanilla flavor, no sugar. It was like eating whipped half and half or fluff with no purpose since so tasteless. My other co workers complained about it too. Portions are big, even with one pasty, you'll have leftovers.
The place just opened across the street from my job. You enter from the street into a bar area to the left and a few tables to right (plus the tables on patio out front). In the middle is stairs going down to a basement level. I didn't go down there, so not sure if it's for workers or open to public. Then there are stairs on both sides of the restaurant going up to another floor with more tables to sit and eat. I really liked the feel and look of the place. It was packed with lots of people. Staff was very nice and helpful. I will be back!
