What made this restaurant lovely was the incredible and friendly service. Everyone here tries to make sure that the customer feels valued. The sweet drinks girl never missed a beat in terms of re-filling drinks glasses. Our waiter was fast, friendly and efficient. The stand-out is the ambience. Even though located in a strip mall, the inside is a lovely wooden decor that is cool, dark and beautiful.
Our dinner salad was just ok. Especially the cheese sprinkled on top seemed like costco shredded mozzarella. After that the food got a lot better. My daughter and I really liked their marinara sauce. It was light, tangy and delicious. My daughter's baked zitti was very good but the pasta was a bit overcooked. My chicken parmigian was delicious.
Afterwards we had an incredible tiramisu which was large enough for 3. The other amazing thing about this place is the price. The food was so delicious--especially for the $26 we were charged for two.
The restaurant has a great vibe. It was packed yesterday and everyone seemed to be having fun. Keep in mind this is NY style Italian--not real Italian like Andreoli or Trattoria Veneto. There are days when I only want NY style Italian and this fits the bill perfectly. We will definitely be back.
