  • Local shop great service. The professional boot fitting service was just that - professional and a service. Charles spent over an hour diagnosing my black toe by reviewing my existing hiking shoes and boots. Then recommended solutions for my existing footwear. Only then did he offer new purchase options. Who does that? At the big box shops you have someone handing you boots with no idea if they are good for you or not? Long story short I bought new Lowa boots Soul inserts and new Darn Tough socks. The next 30 Miles on the trail were pain free. Thanks Hiking Shack!
