  • I have taken my dog many times to PetSmart for training, grooming & a ton of doggie day camp sessions. However, at the end of July one night I went to pick up my dog from day camp & got home I noticed my dog had a small area of blood on him. Two days later it still was not better so I took my dog to the vet. My dog had been bitten multiple times on the side of his back & the area was infected. My dog had only been in PetSmarts care & wasn't being looked after properly. My dog had to be on pain medication & an antibiotic for the bites he had gotten while at day camp. Of course no one is willing to own up to what happened & no one has offered to reimburse me for that days camp and/or vet bill. I will NEVER take my dog to any PetSmart ever again & highly advise everyone else to do the same.
