| - 2* is about right. Definitely NOT more than that!
Clothes - Next! The tiniest section which was probably a nicer, rebranded version of Old Navy at Banana Republic prices, seriously. Think: Flannel plaid shirt for like $39.99 (or even $49.99), made in China.
The rest of the store comprised of some suitcases, kitchen gadgets (including $9 chopsticks), organisation bins/baskets, toiletry items (travel containers, wash cloths, black q-tips, toners, creams), cheapish Converse like runners, and stationary items (notebooks, magazine holders, etc.
Other people have described it as a Japanese Ikea, but not at those prices.
What gets *s knocked off is the lack of inventory. The shelves, especially for the lower priced items (utensils/toiletries) were completely EMPTY. Only the displays were up, but no stock whatsoever.
I have been to the Manhattan MUJI and this one pales in comparison. In fact, it's not even the same store. Not sure when the more favourable reviews were written, but this store was nothing to write home about!
