| - I was expecting to be herded around like cattle, abused and irritated; but, thankfully I got the complete opposite. For the south rim tour, $79.99 plus $10 per person it was a steal. If you factor in renting a car, gas, getting lost (or not), entrance admission to the Grand Canyon, free pick-up, lunch and breakfast. I felt like I got my money's worth and maybe even more!
The only time I felt like sheep was when they dropped all of us off in the morning at their "office" to get us all numbered and situated and made us wait in this small room like we were at the DOL. But that's it! Lunch was great, enjoyed the food there (and I'm pretty picky so). We had a little under three hours at the Grand Canyon, were able to do the rim walk which was about 2 miles - I highly recommend doing that, amazing views! The south rim is absolutely breathtaking. Loved it.
I would recommend this south rim tour to anyone! However, next time I'd want to attempt to go down into the canyon. Mule pack anyone? :)
