For an emergency animal hospital, I was surprised at how quickly they took my dogs into the treatment area for examination. I expected to be waiting with my dogs in the lobby for an hour or more, but they were there immediately after we finished the intake paperwork to take them back. I imagine the animals are seen in order of who's most critical, so we did find ourselves waiting in the lobby for quite some time, but we fully expected that. If you're comparing the wait times and cost to a regular vet, yes, you'll wait longer and pay more, but that's the nature of an emergency animal hospital. Every single person there was very kind and compassionate. I'm so grateful that they're there when we need them (hopefully never again though) and I'm glad my dogs got the care they required after 8pm on a Sunday night.
