  • FIFA WORLD CUP BET Last Tuesday I came to Rio because in the coupon book that was provided in my room at Harrah's one of the coupons was a $10 free slot spin at Rio. After I was finished playing the slot machine I came to the race and sports book with a mind to make a bet at the World Cup. Unfortunately the World Cup odds at Rio were the same at Bally's and that's probably because they're both under the umbrella of the Caesars Entertainment Corporation. But unlike at Bally's I decided to make a small wager on USA for the World Cup. Since the theme for Rio is Brazilian and the World Cup this is in Brazil this make sense to place a wager for the World Cup. In terms for the facility there's a stark contrast between Rio and Bally's. Whereas Bally's is much bigger and has better lighting the Rio is smaller and darker. Since the facility is dark inside the race and sports book there doesn't appear to be an inviting atmosphere to place a wager. If I didn't have the $10 free slot spin I wouldn't have come here to place a wager on the World Cup.
