  • I went here for lunch during a weekend course at Wallace Emerson Community Centre. I got a delicious, large chicken sandwich for only $6.50. It was really fresh, the service was great and the staff were extremely friendly. There's a relaxed, family-business atmosphere to the whole bakery. I didn't get a coffee or pastry but was tempted because both looked and smelled quite good. I had never been to this part of Toronto before and my initial impression was that it was something of a food desert (there are no obvious options on the block that I could find, apart from McDonalds and a small kiosk in the Galleria mall), so it was a breath of fresh air to discover this spot. I will absolutely return if I ever find myself in this part of the city again!
