  • So, we've been here twice. As a rule, I don't write a review of a restaurant until I've been twice. Having a good or poor experience on a first visit could be a fluke. Enough chat, on with the review. We wanted to love this place, but there are several factors that just leave this place lacking. On the first visit, we ordered two glasses of wine, the calamari for an appetizer, and tried their tableside pasta service. The calamari was good and cooked correctly. However, the three types of pasta we tried in their tableside service were not good. The flavors were muddy and the pasta itself was very overcooked. In retrospect, I should've known better than to order the tableside pasta, as I could've guessed the pasta was sitting in the back on a sterno waiting to be served. Pasta should only be served fresh, as sitting under or over heat will continue to cook the pasta. And quite honestly, the price for the app, entrees and wine were pretty steep. On our second visit, they initially sat the two of us at this huge round 4 top. It was difficult to have a conversation between the two of us and awkward sitting at this giant table alone. Additionally, the table next to us had a toddler banging on the plates with the silverware. It was obvious that we were there as a couple to have a date night. Ultimately, we requested a more adequate table. For our meal, we ordered the grilled octopus as an appetizer, the hubby ordered the lamb shank, I ordered the pork chop, and we ordered brussels sprouts for the table. The octopus was good, but there was an abundance of red pepper on the dish and my palette was completely engulfed in spice. The entrees were extremely bland. I was searching all over for the salt and pepper shakers, but there are none to be found on the table. Unfortunately, they refuse to add any salt or pepper to their dishes, and refuse to provide you the option to add any at the table. Again, the bill at the end of the night was extreme and we walked away realizing that this place charges an arm and a leg for their bland food simply to pay for the rent and decor. Pros: Convenient for residents of The Strip Decor is beautiful Service is impeccable Cons: Food is very bland - absolutely no flavor Pasta isn't great Prices are way too high for the quality of food they are serving No real consideration for the comfort of their guests End result - We won't be going back.
