Difficult hike up but rewarding view from the top. The last 30 minutes are pretty rough but before that it was gradual and pretty secure footing. The final ascent may involve some use of hands.
It can be confusing at the beginning of the trail because it is labeled as East Anthem Trail. You hike up a paved walkway for the first .5 mile and come to a building where the trail splits. Go around to the back side of the building and catch the dirt path heading off towards a far away peak. Don't take the path towards the houses or towards the electrical towers.
Took me 90 minutes up and 65 down but I was hustling. Would love to hike it with another person because the views deserve to be shared! Sign the notebook or drop something in the geo cache at the top. Enjoy!! And be careful coming down, slippery footing. Hiking shoes highly recommended
