  • I must say, this was the first time the reviews have let me down. Decided to try this place out because the reviews sounded good and we're lovers of wild game. Went on a Sunday night, and the place was not crowded at all, so it was weird when the host said to us, 'It will be a minute.' - huh? There's hardly anyone here! Anyway, once we were sat, we decided to try several apps - the boar sliders (not bad but not great), wild game chili (lacking seasoning, so no taste), and nachos with carnitas (huge plate, pretty good), and entrees - wild boar carnitas tacos (very greasy), jackalope meatloaf (meatloaf was good, but sides had no seasoning/flavor) and big 3 brats (good). The only positive was that the portions are large. As I mentioned before, there was hardly anyone in the place, and yet our food took forever to come out, well over an hour. When it did come, they brought us everything together (apps and entrees), and they got one of our orders totally wrong and forgot the chili. It took another 15 minutes to get the correct order and the chili. No apologies for the food taking so long or for the incorrect order. That on top of the food being average at best, we would definitely not recommend this place.
