I have never been so disappointed with a Starbucks cafe. I ordered VERBATIM " I'll have a decaf double heavy cream Espresso Macchiato with three pumps of sugar free cinnamon dolce" and the incompetent POS (point of sale) barista was obviously unaware of that drink option. So she starts speaking in Spanish to the order support barista (who is moving at a sloth's pace) and they start giggling back and forth. By this time I shaking with frustration. So when I go to pick up my drink, it's not correct. I only noticed after leaving and taking a sip and realizing that it didn't taste like DECAF. So I look at the cup; and sure enough it wasn't marked. I take it back to the Bar barista and ask him if it was made decaf and his only response was "No. it wasn't marked decaf." DECAF WAS THE FIRST WORD OF MY ORDER WTF!? But what's worse is he didn't offer to remake my super simple drink. (Remember I'm a Starbucks Partner, so I know). He just shrugged it off like "oh well." Didn't apologize. Nothing.
On top of all this, their pastry case was not set to standard, they weren't executing their roles AT ALL, and with 5 (visible) employees on the floor, only 3 were doing anything active.
Super disappointed and I feel that Licensed Stores need to be held to a higher standard if they're going to represent the company that so many Partners rely on!
