  • Firebirds is technically a chain and I usually avoid chains like the plague. However this Firebirds is the exception that makes the rule. I have been going here for at least ten years and have always been treated very well. The Durango burger has got to be one of the top 3 in Arizona. The Ivan (The Attic) still reigns supreme. The cilantro chicken breast is one of my wife's favorites. We both agree that the BLT salad is fantastic. The prices provide a great value. The kitchen really shines and executes at a high level everyday. Anyone can design a great dish, but executing it regularly is the hard part. I steer away from the steaks because they have to cut them thin to cook them on the wood-fired grill. They are fine, but I prefer a tall filet or a thicker ribeye. Otherwise Firebirds is solid eats.
