  • This place is absolutely awesome. Somebody is putting a lot of work and running it with an iron hand. The servers are very polite, they're somewhat formal which is refreshing. The place is immaculate with lots of great decor. The food is excellent and surprisingly inventively prepared. I had the Philadelphia cheesesteak and was markedly impressed by the fact that it was not drowning in cheese; I didn't think it'd be that good because it didn't look like the usual Philly cheesesteak. When I bit into it, it was a celebration of peppers meat seasoning and the right amount of cheese. It doesn't look like a Philly cheese steak but it was the best one I've ever had. If you are in downtown Phoenix, you are cheating yourself if you don't come here. Do yourself a favor, come here for a casual meal and bathe in this awesome retro atmosphere and enjoy the excellent service and food.
