| - It was with great enthusiasm that I visited this Ollie's last week after literally jumping up and down after seeing the ad in the paper. We have Ollie's!! Yay!! I used to live in PA where Ollie's has much larger stores than this Parma location, and have found some spectacular deals over the years here. For example, 600 thread count sheets for $15! A persian rug for $40 for my college dorm! Lindt chocolate bars (honestly the best chocolate i've ever had) for $1.50 (normally $6 at Giant Eagle!
A new discount store! Similar to Marc's but with more books, more hardware (tools, carpets, appliances), furniture, and generally cheaper prices. It was pretty much what I expected, although this location is much smaller than the store's I'm used to, so it seems somewhat crowded.
But what's up with Parma? The worst part of the trip was the way people in this store will just - literally - walk into you. Or move their cart to block your path. It's a small store and there should be some sort of consideration that we are all sharing the same space, but NO. I'm looking at this. YOU don't exist. Truly the worst sort of humanity. I always thought Beachwood was bad but this was far, far worse.
Anyway, still a worth a look and I look forward to going back for more discounts and a good selection of cheap items (hopefully during the week to avoid all the parma peeps).
PS Join the discount club - if you spend enough they will send you a 20% off coupon.
