  • I went to Globex because i was told they gave a better rate, however they made a big mistake and they inverted the two currencies (CAD and SGD) i wanted, which based on what i would receive, made no sense as CAD was worth more than SGD but they told me I was wrong. On the website the same mistake happens. I assumed at first i was mistaken but i did go to the bank to exchange just to see if i was actually that bad at math. Based on the amount of SGD the bank would give me for my CAD, it confirmed i was right! It's probably just a system/computer mistake and by no means the employee's fault but i thought it was still interesting that a place like Globex would make such a big mistake to invert currencies I still gave it 3 stars cuz i know they give very good rates in general so i would still go back next time. Howerver i would definitely calculate beforehand to make sure they don't make such a mistake again... I was just very irritated to wait in line at Globex, then have to argue with the employee and finally run to the bank ..
