  • One might say that my collection of shoes points a little too hard to a sad state of conspicuous consumption and so I have done my part in paring (or pairing) down. This is not to say that I won't buy shoes (God forbid), I just won't buy shoes that I feel others will have, because, well, that is a real waste. So to pay my part to the environment, I shop at Heel Boy -- THE unique shoe store in Toronto. Heel Boy is not a large store but do expect to find shoes that bigger places won't carry. Don't worry the stock isn't composed of crazy moon boots or pointy, purple Fluevogs with steel toes. They also have a pretty decent bag collection. This store is just plain good, trust me I know.
