  • I've been living in Vegas for 3 years and over the last few months have been trying various salons between my home and work, since my regular girl left town. If you want an honest opinion, here you go (apologies for the essay). I had my nails done on Friday for an event on Saturday night. I got gels with design on 4 nails. By midday on Saturday, 2 of them had chipped really badly and the gel underneath is faint. I called on Monday as I didn't have time to go back before and they told me to send a photo, which I did straight away. They didn't respond quickly, so I called back and twice no one picked up and the third time I got put on hold for 6 minutes and then the call ended! (I screen-shot my call log if you have any questions about this!). They claim to have a 7 day guarantee on gel nails and it took 1 day for them to get ruined. I understand that it was a 'design' but the chipping meant the gel underneath then peeled already (it's Monday, so 3 days later). Conveniently this is not covered, but the base layer is gel so surely that should count?! The worst thing is that TWO friends warned me against going here but I went in regardless and completely wasted $80 + the $20 tip I gave Wynni, thinking she'd done a good job. On top of everything, I specifically called 2 weeks in advance and requested the best nail tech and this is what you offered. Having spent $100 on the worst gel mani I have ever received, it's fair to say I am a little upset. They had a chance to redeem themselves by at least getting a manager to call me when I'm clearly upset, but instead a girl I hadn't even spoken to before called me back (an hour and a half after I called in). Not only will I no longer be using this salon, but I will now be booking all my clients from LA and Vegas into the 2 other salons that I have great experiences at. I will also make sure to mention this in the magazine article I am working on. If you have any questions, check my other reviews. You will see that I never give such negative feedback, but this was just a scam. I seriously question their good reviews. What I find amazing is that I went once before for a regular pedi and that polish lasted over 2 weeks, so it makes me question the quality of their gel and certain technicians, not to mention their customer service this time around.
