  • (I'm only giving 3 stars because I had a good experience the last time I came to this clinic but I didn't leave a review that time) The last time I came to this clinic the doctor I saw was amazing. I could tell he really cared about his patients and wanted me to feel better. That was back in November or December for a Bronchitis. (I wish I could remember his name!) Today I came in for an ear ache and dizziness. I have bad allergies and it seems like any time I get a head cold or it gets really windy, if I don't start taking Flonase right away I'll get an ear infection! Last night I started feeling a tiny bit of pain and used Flonase. I woke up several times during the night but didn't take any pain meds until this morning. When they didn't work I decided to come to this urgent care- since I had a good experience last time. I saw Jeffrey Wright today and he honestly just seemed like he was inconvenienced by having to see patients (and it wasn't even busy- there was only 1 other patient there). First, when I tried to explain the timeline of when my earache started he snapped at me and asked why I didn't take anything for the pain earlier. I have kidney disease and don't like to take pain relievers until it's absolutely necessary, and it was while I was half asleep (and honestly just didn't think about it). Then he asked if I shove things in my ears. I told him that I clean my ears like once a week when they feel dirty. He told me not to use Q tips anymore. That's fine. But I've never been spoken down to by a doctor before (or spoken to like I'm an idiot like he did). Then I tried to explain to him and the medical assistant that I've had several ear infections over the past couple of years and would like to go see an ENT. (This one wasn't as bad as previous ones. I have mid-terms this week so I came in asap). He seemed offended that I wanted to see a specialist. Then he told me that he could only refer me to a specialist if it's a severe issue. Otherwise my PCP has to document a chronic problem and then they'll refer me. Which is crap. He's a physician and can refer me but I don't think he wanted to look up a specialist. When I told him that I don't have a PCP he told me that he could refer me to a PCP only.
