  • I went to Penny for a few jobs but eventually stopped. I felt she was charging far more for the job than others, and her job was not thorough. ie. a hem was no problem, but the request to also sew a button, a small finishing touch wouldn't be done. I found her quite scattered when working with a customer. She would start with one job, then as someone else walked in, stop in the middle, work with the other person and leave you standing and waiting. I found her personality somewhat rude and abrupt at times. For basic sewing jobs, she is fine. Her somewhat rude and aloof personality turned me off. I ended up going to Stitch It at the ManulIfe centre, and that's when I realized I could do much better for a lot less money!
